“This piece imagines vibrating the particles of sensations that make up our memory. Can we create a sensorial collage of touch, sound, and sight? How does memory get distorted and re-fabricated? "eyes / earth / ease" explores to echo the inward and outward space of listening in parallel.” - Akari Komura
Composer/Performer, Akari Komura (voice); Visual design director/Performer, Ilana Waniuk (violin); Audio production & engineering, Joseph Bourdeau; Video production, Robbie Bui
Archive
Archive is an ongoing modular, audiovisual project exploring memory, ritual and connection. Created by Ilana Waniuk in collaboration with flutist and improviser Teresa Díaz de Cossio, Archive consists of a series of modules—artifacts— intended to be used as invitations for collaborative audiovisual improvisation and experimentation.
